PSYCHOLOGIST IN FORT COLLINS, CO & ACROSS PSYPACT STATES
This is where healing & momentum meet.
Meet Renée Woodall, Ph.D.
What would it mean to have a life that is both fulfilling and enjoyable?
That life is where you thought you’d be by now. But today, something just isn’t right, even if you can’t explain why or put words to what you’re feeling. On the surface, things may look “fine”—you’ve handled what’s been asked of you, shown up where you needed to—but it doesn’t feel that way on the inside.
And then you see everyone else moving through things and wonder why you’re struggling so much…why does this feel harder than it seems like it should?
Therapy may not always be easy, but it can lead to a place that feels a lot better than where you are now.
My Approach
I’ve been doing this work for a long time, and I’ve seen a lot. Nothing you bring in is going to surprise me, and you certainly don’t have to have it all figured out before you start. I know that life happens. I know that things are hard (or have been hard for a long time). My goal is to help you feel comfortable enough to be honest about what’s really going on—and then help you do something with it.
Yes, we’ll spend time working through what’s challenging, but we won’t stay stuck there. We’ll also look at how this is showing up in your life right now—how you’re thinking, how you’re responding, and what might need to shift so things can begin to feel different.
I approach this work from a mind, body, and soul perspective because they’re all connected, and they all need care. For some people, it can feel like everything is happening in their heads—like they’re cut off from the rest of themselves. That’s why some of our work will focus on helping you reconnect with your emotions and your body, so you can better understand what they’re telling you and begin to feel more grounded from the inside out.
What you can expect from this experience
-
This is a space where your experiences, questions, and emotions are met with both understanding and compassion. There’s no pressure to explain everything perfectly or know exactly where to begin—I’m here to support you exactly as you are and where you are.
-
We’ll look openly and honestly at what’s been hard, while also identifying concrete steps that help you move toward feeling better because I don’t intend for you to keep staying “stuck.” My approach blends insight-oriented work with practical, realistic tools so you can create meaningful changes both internally and in your daily life.
-
Here, you’ll be met with clear reflections, thoughtful questions, and shared observations when something important shows up. We work together as a team. You won’t be left guessing what I’m thinking or moving through this work alone—I’m not just a quiet presence in the room.
-
Nothing you bring in is too much, too complicated, or too far outside the range of what we can work through together. Whether you’re navigating big life changes, relationship challenges, grief, anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, trauma, or the emotional realities of midlife and retirement, we’ll make space for the deepest parts of your experience—your fears, hopes, disappointments, and longings.
-
Therapy helps the most important things come into focus. I’m committed to helping you do this by understanding yourself and your relationships in a different way. Things that once felt confusing can start to feel clearer, and you can find yourself better able to respond instead of reacting out of habit or pain.
