Your life can be both meaningful & enjoyable. —
Something feels “off”...but it’s hard to fully explain why.
Life may be changing in ways you expected—kids growing, parents aging—or in ways you didn’t…feeling more disconnected in your marriage, realizing your career hasn’t unfolded the way you expected, or questioning what your life looks like now that the roles you’ve carried for so long are shifting. Maybe it’s not one “big” thing, but a growing sense of feeling stuck, weighed down, or just not quite like yourself anymore. There may be a part of you that recognizes this isn’t new—that something from the past, or an experience you’ve never fully worked through, is still showing up now.
Your mind doesn’t seem to slow down—but with so much going on, it’s hard not to keep turning things over, wondering what it all means and where things are headed. And while you’re used to showing up for your family, your work, and the people who depend on you—lately it’s been getting harder to keep pushing through the same way.

You’re ready for your next steps.
Hi, I’m Dr. Renée Woodall.
For over 25 years, I’ve walked with people through some of their hardest seasons, and I’ve seen them get through to the other side.
Too often, we go through the world assuming everyone else has things figured out. But that’s rarely how it actually works. Life never goes exactly as we think it will—unexpected turns in our plans, our relationships, and the path we thought we were on. I know how to sit with this kind of discomfort and hurt without rushing past it, and I also know how to help you move through it.
I’m deeply invested in getting you to where you want to be. My approach is both supportive and direct: I’ll meet you with empathy, care, and understanding, while also helping you look more closely at what’s going on. Whatever your past or present, we’ll work together to understand the patterns at play and take meaningful steps toward the kind of life and relationships you want (and deserve).

While anxiety is often part of the picture, it’s usually not the whole story. When your mind won’t slow down, and the noise never seems to quiet, it can affect every part of your life—your relationships with others, how you communicate, and how connected you feel. In our work together, we intentionally slow things down to understand what’s beneath those feelings and help you move toward a more grounded sense of self, a more empathetic internal voice, and stronger, fulfilling relationships.
-
Over time, even the strongest of relationships can begin to feel distant or strained. You get caught in the same old arguments, feelings get hurt, you’re always disconnected from one another, and it makes you wonder how things have changed so much. If you both want things to be better but aren’t sure how to get there, couples therapy can help. We’ll take a close, honest look at what’s been happening between you—so you can understand each other more deeply, work through what’s been building or what’s been suppressed, and begin to move forward in a healthier way together.
-
Retirement is a big transition—it’s a phase of life that doesn’t often come with a handbook or a clear sense of what to expect. Many people are surprised by what this season brings, from questions about identity and purpose to shifts in relationships and daily life. In a focused, intensive session, we’ll take a thoughtful, thorough look at what’s unfolding for you and discover what you need to make this next chapter happy and worthwhile.
GETTING STARTED
Schedule a Consultation
This is a chance for us to talk through what’s going on and see if we’re a good fit. It won’t feel stiff or formal—I’ll meet you right where you are. You can share openly about what’s feeling hard or confusing and what you’re hoping for.
01
Dig Into What’s Really Going On
We’ll start looking closely at what you’re experiencing, including what’s happening under the surface. This allows us to make sense of how you got here and begin to sort through it so things feel less tangled and more clear.
02
Find Your Footing Again
As we continue, we’ll focus on what needs to shift so you can move forward. That might mean working through something from the past, looking at your relationships differently, or trying new ways of responding. I’ll guide you, support you, and challenge you when it’s helpful—so you can get to a place you want to be.
03
Move forward with both purpose & possibility.
